Dock your iPod, sync to your computer via the supplied USB connection, and charge and play all your Audio and Video files. There is an S-Video output which allows you to connect the speakers to your TV for a high quality video signal while listening to a wide sound stage that feels like surround sound. The iN STUDIO 5.0 speakers are active, bi-amped 25W enclosures with a one-inch natural silk tweeter and five-inch shielded paper cone. Simply put, these speakers are incredible. When I first saw them for 0 (they are 0 now, but still VERY worth it), I honestly wasnt expecting all that much. Also, this is coming from an audiophile. I couldnt believe when I put these speakers near max volume and they were rocking an entire hallway with extremely good sound quality. The louder you make them, the more impressive they are.

I mainly use these speakers with my computer to play music. Even though they have an iPod dock, I find I like the sound a little better when the computer is driving the speakers, probably because the sound is preamped rather than relying entirely on the speakers internal amps. But even just putting an iPod into the dock and playing it sounds great.

I only found two negatives with these speakers. First, like other reviewers have stated, the auto power on isnt that reliable, and I dont use it. Its really not that hard to just turn them on and off when need be. The only other problem I had was the battery that came with the remote was bad and it was working on and off in the beginning, but upon buying a new battery and replacing it, the remote worked perfectly.

In conclusion, you cant go wrong with these speakers. I have a pair of 0 Shure 530s, and these speakers are just as fun to listen to music on as the headphones. Also, my mom has a 0 CD player, and the sound quality is tremendously inferior to these speakers, just showing how good of value they really are.
